It is now July 2018 and the refrigerator has gone out again! Now I'm reading about faulty compressors and other things. On November 13,2018 ice maker stopped working and food in freezer started thaw Out. Totally unbelievable that a top-of-the-line unit would fail after 3 years. Bought a Kenmore elite in two months and it would cost me$800 to fix it. Last week our ice maker stopped working, and then a few days later the frig and freezer both stopped working. I had to keep calling Sears to confirm the appointment because this indeed was an emergency being with our fairly new refrigerator. Service Tech did not show. Well now it has stopped working and we can't even find anyone to come out and service it since it's a Sears Kenmore Elite! Don't buy LG. !.411 and. This is absolutely unacceptable that this company is not forced to make things right and recall these faulty appliances. We purchased a Kenmore Elite 3 door bottom freezer in May 2017. Used troubleshooting guide and was able to get ice maker to turn over ice and reset the settings as guide suggested freezer started freezing again. If so, please add me. No one will touch LG!
